PROPERTIES AND BENEFITS

Cumin essential oil is obtained from Cuminum cyminum, a plant of the Apiaceae family. Known for its many properties, it is an excellent digestive and calming agent, useful for circulation, abdominal pain and headaches .

- Antispasmodic: soothes abdominal pain or colic, has analgesic and anti-inflammatory properties;

- Circulatory: promotes venous and lymphatic reabsorption, counteracting swelling and heaviness;

- Calming: rebalances states of emotional alteration and soothes the corresponding psychosomatic manifestations (headache, stomach ache).

USE AND PRACTICAL ADVICE

For circulation: 20 drops of cumin essential oil in 100 ml of wheat germ oil to massage on the areas to be treated, such as the legs.

For abdominal pain: in a spoonful of sweet Almond Oil 4 drops of Cumin essential oil to massage on the part. Its warming effect, enhanced by a woolen cloth, soothes spasms.

For headache: 5 drops of essential oil on a cloth dampened with cold water, to be applied on the temples or forehead.

CONTRAINDICATIONS

Use is not recommended during pregnancy and in children under 5 years of age.
