PROPERTIES AND BENEFITS

Tarragon is a spice obtained from the Artemisia dracunculus plant. With digestive and purifying properties, it is a natural antiseptic. Tarragon can also be useful in the presence of menstrual pain, arthritis, rheumatoid pain and against sore throat and inflammation of the oral cavity, such as toothache.

USE AND PRACTICAL ADVICE

Environmental diffusion: pour 1 drop of essential oil for each square meter of the room; use in the essential oil burner or in the water of radiator humidifiers. Helps keep insects away and purify the air.

Gargling Solution: dilute 6 drops in a glass of water at room temperature to act against mouth inflammation, sore throat and toothache.

Massage lotion: To combat menstrual pain and digestive problems, it is useful to massage the abdominal area with 2 drops, combined with a spoonful of sweet almond oil.

CONTRAINDICATIONS

For external use only. Tarragon can easily cause allergic reactions in individuals sensitive to herbs and flowers belonging to the Asteraceae family and in particular to members of this family such as: chrysanthemums, marigolds, daisies, ragweed and many others. Avoid the use of this essential oil in case of pregnancy and breastfeeding and in children under 5 years of age.
