PROPERTIES AND BENEFITS Nutmeg essential oil is obtained from the seed of Myristica fragrans, a plant of the Myristicaceae family. It has antirheumatic and antibacterial properties; it is also useful for the gastrointestinal system and the nervous system. Antioxidant: rich in mineral salts such as copper, potassium, zinc, iron, calcium and vitamins of the B group, vitamins A and C, it has a toning action on the skin and muscles.
