PROPERTIES AND BENEFITS

Pine essential oil It is obtained from Pinus silvestris, a plant of the Pinaceae family. Known for its numerous properties, it has an action tonic, expectorant and antiseptic, useful against stress, asthma and cystitis.

Toning , helps you feel immediately efficient upon awakening, indicated in cases of hypotension and heart failure. It is used to remove the sense of tiredness in people who are tired or under stress, in case of sleep disorders or nervous exhaustion.

Expectorant , if inhaled it thins phlegm, facilitating its elimination. It is therefore used in cases of colds, sinusitis, flu, cough, laryngitis, acute and chronic bronchitis, in flu syndromes, asthma. The fresh and balsamic aroma helps purify the air in rooms.

Antiseptic urinary tract: in addition to being a good diuretic, it acts as an anti-inflammatory of the urogenital tract, proving effective in cases of prostatitis, urethritis, cystitis and leucorrhoea. The external or internal use of this essential oil, thanks to its diuretic action, helps in cases of gout and rheumatism.

USE AND PRACTICAL ADVICE

Environmental diffusion: 1 drop of essential oil for each square meter of the room in which it is diffused, using an essential oil burner or in the water of radiator humidifiers.

Cosmetic use: To combat oily skin, just add 5 drops of mandarin essential oil to 50 ml of moisturizing cream and apply twice a day.

Draining massage: the stimulating effects of mandarin essential oil stimulate the elimination of liquids, making it suitable for combating cellulite and water retention. For this purpose, prepare a massage oil by adding 7 drops of mandarin essential oil and 5 drops of cypress essential oil to 20 ml of almond oil.

Abdominal massage: To combat constipation, it is useful to massage the abdominal area with 2 drops of mandarin essential oil combined with a spoonful of sweet almond oil.

CONTRAINDICATIONS

Pine essential oil is contraindicated during pregnancy, breastfeeding and in children under 5 years of age. Applied externally, at high concentrations, it can cause sensitization effects and irritate the mucous membranes.
