PROPERTIES AND BENEFITS Rosemary essential oil is extracted from Rosmarinus Officinalis, a plant of the Labiatae family. Known for its stimulating and purifying properties. Stimulant: if vaporized in the environment, it acts on the central nervous system, giving energy, promoting concentration and improving memory. Anti-cellulite: it is used as an ingredient in cosmetic products and muds against cellulite or localized adiposity, by virtue of its lipolytic action (dissolves fat). Anti-inflammatory: diluted in sweet almond oil, it relieves joint and muscle pain, dissolves uric acid and the crystals that harden the epidermal tissues, which form edema, swelling and water retention. Expectorant: it is a decongestant that acts on the respiratory system by fluidifying mucus and facilitating its expulsion through coughing. Mucolytic: it is also effective in reducing the risk of colds and bronchitis, keeping the airways clear. Painkiller: it locally reduces joint and muscle pain. Astringent and purifying: it is useful in treating acne and dark spots on the skin.
