PROPERTIES AND BENEFITS Ylang Ylang essential oil is extracted from Cananga odorata, a plant of the Annonaceae family. Known for its numerous properties, it has a calming and aphrodisiac action. It is also useful as a tonic and astringent. Calming: if diffused in the environment, it has a relaxing action on the central nervous system and alleviates disorders such as anxiety, irritability, nervousness and insomnia. Aphrodisiac: increases libido; thanks to its relaxing action on nervous tension and tonic-stimulating action on the psyche and body, it is useful against impotence and frigidity.
